December 12th, 1955
The City Council met, in repular session on the above date, Mayor
J• T. Atkin presiding, the following aldermen and official members
were presents Aldermen: J. C. Compton, A. C. Noodfin, Kennie 'Nilcox,
Ralph Freund and E. K. Tredericsonf Vanager Lee C. Black; '!Y. H. Nunn,
attorney; A. Pickle, Marshall;
Minutes of the previous meetings were read, and on motion of Alderman
J. C. Compton seconded by Ald. Ralph._^reundo were approved as read
Monthly reports were read read, including the reports of City Marshall
and Mr. C. C. Comer, and General Punds Accounts of $319.92. A motion
by Ald Ralph ^reiInd , seconded by Ald. Kennie Nilcox, the reports
were received and filed and the General Fund accounts ordered paid.
A motion wns made by Ald. 'voodfin that a,letter be written to rrr. Comer
commending the good work done in the sanitary Department. The motion
was seconded by Ald. Ralph ^reund and was passed unanimously,
There being no further busimess, motion wss made by Ald. Compton,
seconded by Ald. Ald, Ralph Freund, that the Council adjourn.
