The City Council met in regular (postponed) session on the above
date, Mayor J. T. ATkin presiding, the following were present:
Aldermen --J. H. Compton, Ralph A. Preunld, F.K. Prederiesos,
Kenaie 'ffilcox, Jr., and A. C. Noodfin. City Mnhager Lee C. 'Slack,
Assistant mgr. H. J. Partain; Atty, for the City 17, H. "Tunx;
Assessor and Collector C..S. Sanders; A. P. Pickle, Chief of police;
M. L. Cates, secretary.
On the motion of Ald. Freund, seconded by Ald, fid, the minutes
Of the last meeting were approved as read.
Ypneger Black' monthly report, together with all officers reports,
amd bills in the amount fo 1692.98 were read. Cin motion of Al -do
Woodfin, seconded by A1d rComptbn;_,theireports were received and filed
and the bills ordered paid.
CEDAR OAKS SUBDIVISION DEDICATION.
A Resolution dedicating the Cedar Oaks subdivision to the City of
Georgetown:, as appears on pages Nos. Ye —17 of the City Ordinance
and Resolution Book of Recseord, in fu ,was read, togethet with the 11111WT
following resotdtion of Acceptance were unanimously accepted by the
Council on motion of Alderman E. K. Prederieson, seconded by Ald.
Ralph A. Freund:
"Be it resolved by the City Coancil fo the City of Georgetown,
Texas:
"That the foregoing dpdiestion of the Cedar Oaks Sudivision, to
the City of Georgetown, Tilliamsox County, Texas, is hereby in all
things accepted and approved, together with the Map or Plat
attached hereto, and that the Plat and dedication are hereby
ordered to be duly recorded in the records of the County
ClerkAl office of Williamson County, Texas.
" Passed and approved on this
the 16th day of May, 1955."

Plans for the Zoning of the City of Georgetown were presented
in detail for the zoning of the City. The Mayor and aldermen
suggested that the Council be given more time for consid►ration
of the plans.
There occuring no furthet business, the Council adjourned.
