Ald. E. R. Fredericson moved the Siiid above Ordinance be Read
in full and passed to its second reading, and on account of the Emergency
Clause contained therein, the usual rules requiring ordinances to be read
at three successive meetings be and are hereby suspended the said brdi
nance be hereater be read by caption. The motion was seconded by 11denmax
Kennie ;Silcox, Jr. and passed by the following vote: Ayes- Compton, Fred-
ericson, Smith, Toodifvk, Wilcox. Noes --none. Ordinance read is full.
On motion df Ald. Fredericson, seconded by Ald. Toodfin the Ordi-
was read by Caption and passed to its third reading by the following vote;
Ayes --Compton, Fredericson, Smith, Toodfin, 'Tileox. Noes --none.
Ordinance read by Caption, On motion of Ald. Fredericson,'sec-
onded by Wilcox said Ordinance wPs finally passed, the following being

"An Ordinance of the City of'Georgetown, Texas, Ordaining, Decreeing,' and
Declaring that all portions of the 133 pages of the typewritten matter
that is attached hereto, -is composed of valid ordina.naes and parts of
ordinances of this City that were All heretofore duly passed and published,
and that all the material portions of said ordinances, are copied and
brought forward in the said written Pages, that are attached hereto, is made
a part hereof, and that same shall hereafter be known as, "CnLLI�'CTFD ORD114=
NANCF S”, and that the same is here ordained to be valid ordinances of the.
City, and it to ordered that said Collected Ordinances shall be publiseb
by Caption, and that this Ordinance that is attached hereto, is made

Ordinance Committeeman F. R. Fredericson presented'an Ordinence'foft which'
the above caption was copied, and m6ved the ordinance be read 'in full; 'that
after the reading it be passed to its second reading, and because of the emer-
gency contained therein the usual rules requiring ordinances be read at
three successive meetings be hereby suspended, the same shall be read by
caption only before each vote. The motion was seconded by Alderman Kennie
'Vilcox, Jr., and carried by the following vote: Ayes --Compton, ?rederic-
son, Smith, Toodfit, "Vilcox. Noes -,Tone. Ordinance read in full. (see same
on Psge. No. of Regular Ordinance Book.
After reading the aforsaid ordinance by Caption Alderman Wilcox move the same
be passed tants third s• ad reading. The motion was seconded by Ald.
Compton, and passed by the following vote:r Ayes --Compton Prederieson, Smith,
'Voodfin, Wilcox. Noes- some,
Ordinance read by Caption--Ald. A. C. Toodfin moved the same be passed
this its Baird and final reeding. Ald, Smith seconded the motion, which
carried . The following was the final vote. Ayes -Compton, Tredericson,
Smith, Wilcox, Toodfin. *toes --none.

Messrs. Isom and Grady Watkins discussed a surveying problem pertaining
to ettract of land adjoining the city limits for future consideration
of the proper committee. Also Mr.NWoman Schmidt discussed some strreet
problems on 8 project of lot improvem6sts he has under consideration.
Thereoccuring bo further business the Council adjourned.
