Atkin presiding, the following being present: Aldermen, J. H. Compton, Fred C. Smith, E. Y. Frederieson, A. C. Toodfir, and Kennie Wilcox, Jr.; City Mane.ger Lee C. 'Plaek, City Attornry W. Hs Nunn, City Chief of Police A. I', Piekle, 1. L. CFtes, Clerk. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved, by motion of Ald. Frederieson, seconded by Ald. yileOx. City Yenager rend his moistly report, including the usual reports of officials and the amount of $434.60 bills for psyment approval. The motion for payment of the bills and receiving and -filing of re- ports was made by Ald. Wiletx, seconded by Ald. Frederieson, was carried. Alderman Frddrieson, Ordinance Committeeman, presented the Telephone Rate Ordinance afar., its T'-Sedond_'T reading and moved thr-.t the spme be reed and.Jr., and seconded by Ald. , A. C. Toodfin, the spree r, -s passe'' to the final reading by the following vote. Ayes --Compton, 7rederieson, Smith, Woodfin, Wilcox. Noes --none.
