Compton and I. ager Black as a committee to contact the owner of the gin, Mr. Doering, with a view of remedying the annoyance, if possible. The committee appointed on the Kirloy compromise for a.11exed damages to Yrs. Kirby, recommended thra.t the City not assume a,ny liabilities for said rersonal damages. The Council duly apnrov�:d the recon iiren,ations of the comiaittee and c_lschar ed the coirmittee.
