the fact that the present Milk Ordinance was causing a burden
to fall upon them due to consumer preferance for other brands
of milk. The City Manager, Mayor and City Attorney, reviewed
and explained the present city milk ordinance. The 14erohants
requested that some relief be given so as to keep a normal

the Council that a resolution be passed to allow the City
Health Officer to issue permits authorizing the sale of milk
in the City of Georgetown, in all cases where the milk
complied with present balk Ordinance except the provision req-
uiring Bangs Tested Herds for Pasteurized Milk. That this
resolution is passed by reason of the fact that the District
Court of this County has held that the provisions of the
ordinance requiring the testing of Herds in the case of the sale
of Pasteurized Yilk is unenforceable and that by reason thereof
permits now be issued for the sale of Pasteurized Milk from
herds that have not been Bangs tested.
