rhe City Council met in regular session on the above date, Mayor C. S.
Griffith presiding, the following were presents gldermens J. T. Atkin,
E. C. Fredericson, A. C. 'Toodfin, Rennie Tilcox; City Manager Lee C.
Black, T. H. 1,Tunn, attorney for the city; C. S. Sanders, assessor -
collector; A. P. Pickle, marshal; V. L.Qa.tes, Secretary.
On motion of A. C. Woodfin, seconded by J. T. Atkin, the minutes of the
last session were approved.
City Manager Lee C. Black read his monthly report, and the usual re-
ports of the Marshal and Treasurer, also the bills and accounts
amounting to 1379.23. City Assessor -Collector Sanders read his report
showing the current tax valuations of taxable property in the city
amounts toS29833, 640.00. On motion of Ald. Toodfin, seconded by Ald.
Fredericson, the reports were received and filed, a,hd the accounts were
ordered paid.
on motion of Ald. Fredericsot and seconded by Ald. 'Voodfin, the city
manager was authorized to purchase the required amount of fire hose
at present necessary for the fire department, from the Eureka Hose
Company.
There occuring no other business the Council adjourned.
