Griffith presiding, the following were present: City ldanar?er Lee C. flack. Alderment 4. T. Atkin. F. K. Frederieson, F. C. Smith, Kennie Tilcox and F. C. Ifoodfin; f)fficers, C. S. Sanders, assessor - collector; A. P. Pickle, marshall; 1'. L. Cates,,secretary. on Yotion of Aldo 'Aoodfin, seconde. by Aldo F. C. Smith, the previous minutes of cPlle Pnd regular sessions were approved. The Final reading of the Telephone Ordinance allowing the Southwestern States Telephone Company to increase rates as specified in said ordinance having been made, a motion wag made by Alderman A. C. Poodfin,' and sec- onded by Aldo J. T. Atkin that the said ordinance be passed finally., The ordinance ppssed by the following vote: Ayes, Atkin, Frederieson, Woodfin, Wilcox, Smith, Noes --none, The Payor declared the said ordinance duly passed. Aldo E. K. Frederieson made a motion, which was seconded by Aldo A. C. '.Voodfin, that the following RESOLUTION be passes: Resolution authorizing the filing for record end the reeordinr of ma of ma.p of the I.O.n.F. Cemetery, 1951 Addition, to the City of George town, Texas. - Be it Revolved by the City Council of the city of Georgetown, Texa.ey� at a Regular Yeeting on this the 1'3th day of August, 1951. 1. The owners of that certain tract of land designated on the attached, mepthereof at the I.O.O.F.Cemetery, 1951 Addition Pre hereby authorized«* to file for record in the office of the County Clerk of Willimmsori County, Texas, the map of said tract of land attached hereto, and said County S:_'::, Clerk is hereby authorized to accept for filing and to record said map of said trAct of land. " 2. In accepting the dedication of the Streets and''9alks shown on-s&ld- map of said tract of land, the city does not assume any obligation to ' grPde, improve or maintain the streets or walks shown thereon unless said city elects to do so'. Following were present: Vpyor C. S. Griffith presided; Aldermen: Frederieson, Atkin, '.Voodfin, Smith Pnd Yanager hee C. Mack. After inspecting the City Springs, and finding the flow diminished to a seemingly dangerous extent P motion was made by Aldo F. H. Smith, seconded by Aldo A. C. 'yoodfin thnt the Council reoueat the discontinuance of wc.terinr lawns Pnd shrubbery, until further notice, and a notice of snibd request be given through the newspapers Pnd public address system.
