The City Council met in adjourned session the above date, Vayor C. S.
Griffith presiding, the following offifials and aldermen were present:
Ald°rmen--J. T. Atkin, E. K. Fredericson, C. C. Hamilton, F. C. Smitk,
A. C. Toodfin, Officials: Lee C. Black, city manR.ner; T. H. Nunn,
attorney for the city; 31. L. Cates, secretary.
Two Bids for tkr sale and erection of of a 77rter tank for the city
were received, and opened. Tke following were the bids;
Chicago Bridge and Iron "7orks........ A69,500.00
Pittsburg-Dearfloines Steel Co........., 670990.00
Alderman J. T. Atkin made a motion that the city accept the
bid of the Chicago Bridge and Iron works, and that the Uayor
be authorized to sign the contract with the said Chicago
Iron and Bridge Works for the purchase and erection of

of Equalization, to review the city rendition tart lists. On motion
of Ald. F. C. Smitk, seconded by Ald. Fredericson, the Council
ratified the Mayor's nomination.
A large delegation of citizens, representing the various civic
groups of the city were present to discuss the possibility of the
city completing the N.Y.A. building at San Gabriel Park, in the
immediate future. The speakers from the group p6itlttdontit that
completion of the building would greatly facilitate in the
recreational program, in particular, which it is desired may be
a year around program in the interest of the youth of Georgetown.
The members of the Council expressed their desires and hopes
they had for the final completion: of the said building, but other
necessary protects now being entered into would prevent immediate
action, insofar as the financing of the NYJL building completion
is concerned.
After the citizens committees had dispersed the Council discussed
the matter as proposed, and it wns proposed in a motions made by
Alderman J. T, Atkin, and seconded by Alderman Toodfin, that
the city complete the flooring of concrete at once. The motion was
carried unanimously.
There occuring no further business the Council adjourned.
