April 27th, 1950.
Tke City Council meth: adjourned session, from the reuglar session on
April 10tk, 19509 Mayor C. S. Griffitk, presiding, the following Ald-
men being present: J. T. Atkin, C. C. Hamilton, F. K. Frederickson, A. C.
Woodfin, Fred.C. Smith. Secretmry, 2d. L. Cates.
The immediate pending business that anpea.red urgent war tke'completion
of the lertae agreement with the Sheriff's Possee for a certain portion
of property and land am described in a contrnet between the said City
of Georgetown and the Skeriff's Fosse of Williamson County.
On motion ofAlderma.n C. C. Hamilton, seconded by Alderman R. C. Fred-
erickson, the Mayor was Authorized to execute the said m-greement at
6nee.

gulating the handling of volatile or explosive liquids, that was passed and approved

Ald. Atkin moved tkat the said Ordinance be reed in full, whisk motion
carried unanimously.

On motion of Alderman Atkin that tke armor usual rules for the pass-
ing of ordinances be suspended, on account of rn eaergency Clausetkerei*
tkat the same be hereafter read by caption and passed to the 2nd reading,
was seconded by Ald. Fred Co Smith, and was passed by tke following vote:
Ayes, Atkin, iiamilton, Frederickson, Woodfin, Smitk. None$ -Nome.

Tke Mayor declared said ordinance duly passed.
There occuring no further business the Council adjourned.
