The City Council met in called session on the above date Mayor C.S.
Griffith presiding and the following aldermen and other members
of the Council were present: Aldermen; J. T. Atkin, T. P. Hoffman, Jr.,
C. C. Hamilton, Ssm F. Harris and 7 -red Cooper Smith. OThe other
members as follows: IT. 'Tunn, Rttorney for the City, Lee c. Black,
City Manager, V. L. Cates, Secretary,
The Ciuncil heArd the reading of a letter from Air. JOe E. "lard,
engineer, which was in reply to P. letter recently written by
Mayor C. S. Griffith which was authorized at the regular session of the
Council December 12, 1949. No action was taken by the Council.
