Georgetown, Texas,
February 14th, 1949
The City Council met in regular seesion on the above date, Mayor
C. S. Griffith presiding, the following being present: City Manager
Lee C. Black. Aldermen: S. Thatcher Atkin, C. C. TNsmilton, To P. Hoffman,
Jr., and Sam E. Harris. To IT. Nunn, attorney for the City; C. S. Sanders
Assessor -Collector; A. P. Fickle, City Yarshall; 11% L. Cates, Secretary.
The Minutes of the previous session were read, and on motion of Aldo
Harris, seconded by Aldo Hoffman were approved with a minor correction,
On motion of Aldo Atkins, seconded by Aldo i?a,milton, the report of
the Auditing Committee was received and filed.
The monthly report of Manager Lee C. 31ack was read, and included
the bills and accounts for the previous month, and also the report of
the City Treasurer, and the City Yarshall. On motion of Aldo Hoffman
the said reports were Deceived and filed and all accounts ordered paid.
Manager Lee C. aalck read his annual report and on motion of Aldo Hoffman
the same was receive and filed an ordered that the same be Published
in the Williamson County Sun.
It was movedby Aldo Hamilton, that the ordinance pertaining to the
operation of Marble Machines be enforced. The motion carried after being
seconded by A dfrman Sam F. Harris.
There occuring no further business the Council adjourned.
