The City Council met in regular session on the above date,'MPyor
C. S. Qriffith presiding, the Poll^wing aldermen and officers were
present. Lee C. 'flack, City YRnager. Aldermen: J. T. Atkin, C. C. Hr:mil-
ton, T. P. Hoffman, Jr., Sam F. Hurts. officers;
C. S. Sanders, assessor -collector; k. Fickle, marshPl; If. L.
Cates, secretary.
On motion of .f.ld. uarris the minutes of the previous meetings were
approved.
Kranager B1Pck rend his monthly report, including thn rr-ports of
the treasurer and city marshal, also the bills end accounts. On
motion of Ald. Harria, seconded by Ald. C. C. Hrmilton, the re-
ports were received and filed, and all bills ordered paid.
On motion of Ald. Hrmilton, seconded by Ald. Harris, the City
Manager was authorized to employ scavengers for the clening of open
toilets in the city, at a charge of fl.00 permontla per toilet,
to do the billing and collecting in the city Tater and LiRht
office, and to enforce the ordinance pertatdtngt;te saki epil,-toilets.
A motion was made by Ald: HPrris and seconded by Ald. T. -P,
Hoffman, Jfr,, that City Ya.nager Lee! C. MAck be Authorized to
pay f6r a carload of piping amounting to ►6,836.89, out of
the Special nd7wr
