HPrria, seconded b3t Ald. ,Vflc6x that Assessor -Collector Sanders be charde with said s.mount of taxes. There occuring no further business, the Council adjourned. S. Griffith, presiding. rresents City 11,nmager Lee C. '?la.ck. Aldermen: J. T. Atkin, S. F. Wilcox, T. 'r. "?offma.n, Jr,, Attye for the City, Nunn, Y. L. Cates, Recretw y. The following resolution was offered: "Resolution of the City Council of the City of Georgetown Texas, with reference to State Highway Department taking over maintenance of Hi h 1 e way04 and 81. Whereas, the maintenance of Highway 104 and 81 has become so great due to the fact of such heavy out of town traffic through our City. Therefore, be it resolved, that the City hereby request The State Highway Department take over the maintenance on Hirhwry 104 running Rast and West And Highway 81 running Worth and South through our City from City Limits to City Limits. On motion of Alderman Atkin, seconded by'Alderman Hoffman, the aforesaid resolution was unanimously Passed. There occuring no further business the Council adjourned.
