Mayor M. F. Smith, presiding; and the following Aldermen being
present: F. E. Buchholz, J. R. Chastain, W. S. Frasier, J. C. Godbey,
S. E. Wilcox. Officers present were: W. H. Nunn, city attorney; S. A.
Hodges, assessor and collector; R. 0. Davis, marshal, M, L. Cates,
City. secretary.
This meeting was called jointly for alderman and citizens to dis-
cuss the zoning ord Lance passed at the last regular meeting of the
council. A number of interested visitors ,were present.
On motion of Alderman VI, S. Frasier, seconded by Alderman Chas-
tain, the Council voted that the publicatinnof the aforesaid ordinance
cease, with the purpose of the repeal of same at the next regular ses-
sion of the Council,
The Council opened the following sealed bids on four tires Sind
tubes for the hook and ladder Seagrave track. The following were the
t o##1 of each bid:
