That beginning with the lst, day of May 1044, and;
continuing till changed by law, there shad be paid to the
Mayor, of said City, a salary or Forty. (440.00) Dollars per
month, and there shall be paid to each Alderman of the said
City, a salary of ten. ($10,00)Dollars per month. Such pay-
ment to the said Mayor and. Alderman shall ba full compensat�-
ipn for all servioes to ba rendered by them, of tet the said
date but their present ocmpensation shall contihile to boor
paid up to the said date
