HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 76-01 - Traffic Signal AN ORDINANCE RENAMING A PORTION OF A CITY STREET PRESENTLY KNOWN AS DAWN DRIVE TO GOLDEN OAKS DRIVE, DIRECTING CITY MANAGER TO TAKE APPROPRIATE MEASURES TO AFFECTUATE THE CHANGE IN NAME. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS: That the Street lying within the Corporate limits of the said City which has been and presently designated as "Dawn Drive" in said City of Georgetown, said portion of the street beginning at Williams Drive (RM 2338) and running in a Northeasterly direction where it intersects Golden Oaks Drive and being the same street which has been and is now. known and otherwise as "Dawn Drive" shall hereafter be known and designated by signs and otherwise as "Golden Oaks Drive" and BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the City Manager of the City of Georgetown shall do all things necessary and expedient to affectuate the aforesaid change in the name of Dawn Drive to Golden Oaks Drive. PASSED on the first reading this 9th day of February, 1976, by a unanimous vote of all members of the Council.
