BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGITTO1N, TEXAS
'hat every person or firm having a license to operate a pool
and Billiar hall, or who may hereafter engage in operatin,; a pool and
Billiard hall in the City of Georgetown, Texas, shall close and keep
closed such pool and billiard hall and transact no business therein
or therefrom from and after Seven P. 2J. until Seven A. ,".". of each
week day, and shall keep closed such pool and billiard hall or halls
and place of business quid transact no business therein or therefrom
and after Seven O'clock P.I&. on Saturday until Seven A.Y. O'clock
of the following; Monday of each week, and any such person or firm or
his or their agent or employees who shall open or khep open, any
such house or place of business, for the purpose of playinL pool or
billiards, or who shall transact or permit to be transacted therein
or therefrom any each business between t:.o hours tL,uraaaiu shall be
deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished
by a fine of not less than Twenty-five Dollars nor more than One Hun-
dred Dollars.
That the rules of this Council requirin6 all ordinances to
be read at three several meatink;s, be and the sarre are hereby sus-
pended and this ordinance shell tare effect immediately upon its
passage and approval by the Vayor, and publication.
