The Honorable John Doerfler
City Hall

Dear Mayor Doerfler:
On behalf of Southwestern University, we request that the City con-
sider annexing the property described as:
"The President's House. The Southwest corner of the property
begins at a white board fence on Highway 29 and proceeds North
along a chain link fence to the North curb of the parking lot,
which would be the Northwest corner. The Northwest corner to
the Northeast corner is parallel to the Southwest/Southeast line.
The Northeast corner to the Southwest corner is parallel to the
Southwest/Northwest boundary and proceeds along the East side of
the pebble finish paved driveway from Highway 29 to the President's
house. The Southeast corner is at a stone pillar at the East side
of the driveway entrance from Highway 29 to the Southwest corner
noted above. The East and West boundaries are 360 feet, more or
less. The North and South boundaries are 180 feet, more or less."
We believe that it would be beneficial to the University to have the
benefits afforded by City ordinances, as well as the police and fire
services.
Your prompt consideration will be appreciated.
Most sincerely,
Jv A
