Petition of The Monarch Theatre to ere7ot an ol'octric sign on his building on Main Street was presented. On motion of Ald. Sherr ill they were granted permission to erect .same', provided .it did not, increase the fire hazard- w, Cn motion of Ald, Sherrill the Mayor was Instructed to appoint a committee to survey two streets through the Coffee -Johnson loreap- e;rty, running east and west, and make estimate of the appreximate'; cost of grading and graveling same, and report back at a meeting to ` be held :.ednesday night, Nov. 22.
