3rd. That after said bearing said City Council will, by ordinance, assess"

accordance with the "Front Foot Pian", as the frontage of the owner is to the

or apportionment as shall be just and equitable, having in mind the benefits to
each owner, and the burdens imposed upon them, provided that no assessment.

CHURCH, 7TH, 8TH, AND 12TH STREETS, TO BE PAVED IN THE CITY
t OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS.
'A resolution of the City Council of Georgetown, Texas, determining the necessity
of levying an assessment against the property and the owners thereof, abut-'
ting upon Brushy, College, Church, 7th, 8th, and 12th Streets, within the City
of Georgetown, Texas, fixing a time for the hearing of the owners of said!
property, and declaring same to be an emergency measure, to -wit: 1
lie it resolved by the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas:
That whereas, The City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, has here-
tofore, by resolution, ordered the improvement of Brushy, College, Church, 7th,,
5th,,and 12th Streets, with Uvalde Rock Asphalt, anti the building of curb and
gutters on either side of said streets, when and where found accessary, in acc-rd-
anee with the terms of said resolution; and,
Whereas, In accordance with law and the City Charter of said City of George-
town, after advertising for bids, the work of improving the above mentioned
streets, between said points, to be improved with Uvalde hock Asphalt has been
lot to W. E. Dozier; and
Whereas, A contract has been entered into between the said City of George- i
town and W. E. Denier, on the 7th day of July, 1922; ^nd
Whereas, W. N. Harris, the City F,ngineer of said tity of Georgetawn, Texas,
in Accordance with a resoi rtion of said City Council heretofore passed, has filed
his report with the C;ty Council as to the coat of said imp:cvements and as to the
matter required by law and snid resolution which report or statement so filed by
acid City Engineer has been duly approved; and

to assess a part of the cost of said improvement against the said owners and
their property:

of improvement creates a public necessity that this resolution

hereby declared to be an emergency measure and that it take effect from

its passage and approval by the Mayor and City Council.
