And the City Clerk of said City of Georgetown, Texas, is hereby direct ed and ordered to give notice of said hearing by having this resolution published three times in Tice Williamson County Sun, the first publication to be made at! { least ten days before the date of such hearing, and to mail each owner, their Agents or attorneys, a copy thereof, at least ten days before the date of suchc hearing. i 3rd. That after said bearing said City Council will, by ordinance, assess" Against the owners of said property and against their property, such sums as shall; be determined to be just and equitnble, and that said assessment will be made In accordance with the "Front Foot Pian", as the frontage of the owner is to the whole frontage to be improved, provided that if the said plan shall be determined, in any case to be unjust or inequitable, that the City Council will adopt such rule or apportionment as shall be just and equitable, having in mind the benefits to each owner, and the burdens imposed upon them, provided that no assessment. shall be made against any owner or his property in excess of the benefits to said; property in enhanced value thereof, by means of such improvements. 4th. That the total cost of such improvements, As shown by the reports of the City Engineer, which report is made a part of this resolution, is the sum of $171,006.74. That the proportion of the cost which it is proposed to assess against j property owners and their property is $102,964.42• That the amount per front foot; which it is proposed to assess agninst each parcel of property and its owner, noti ;including the cost of curbs And gutters• all of which cost of curbs and gutters is( assessed against the respective property owners, is, according to the widtb of. the streets, as hereinafter stated, 5th. That the names of persons, firms, corporations and estates owning prop ORDINANCE: DETERMINING THE ASSESSMENT AGAINST PROPERTY,' AND OWNERS THEREOF, ABUTTING UPON BRUSHY, COLLEGE, CHURCH, 7TH, 8TH, AND 12TH STREETS, TO BE PAVED IN THE CITY t OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS. 'A resolution of the City Council of Georgetown, Texas, determining the necessity of levying an assessment against the property and the owners thereof, abut-' ting upon Brushy, College, Church, 7th, 8th, and 12th Streets, within the City of Georgetown, Texas, fixing a time for the hearing of the owners of said! property, and declaring same to be an emergency measure, to -wit: 1 lie it resolved by the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas: That whereas, The City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, has here- tofore, by resolution, ordered the improvement of Brushy, College, Church, 7th,, 5th,,and 12th Streets, with Uvalde Rock Asphalt, anti the building of curb and gutters on either side of said streets, when and where found accessary, in acc-rd- anee with the terms of said resolution; and, Whereas, In accordance with law and the City Charter of said City of George- town, after advertising for bids, the work of improving the above mentioned streets, between said points, to be improved with Uvalde hock Asphalt has been lot to W. E. Dozier; and Whereas, A contract has been entered into between the said City of George- i town and W. E. Denier, on the 7th day of July, 1922; ^nd Whereas, W. N.
