HomeMy WebLinkAboutMIN 09.18.1946 CC-S188 Georgetown, Texas 01 September 18, 1946 y N The City Council met in a,djnftrnederegnlar session on September the 18th, at which time the proposal of the Karpark Corporation, of Cincinnati Ohiop to install parking meters in Georgetown, was heard , as presented by their represented. After some discussion It was moves by Alderman Chas twin tain, seconded by A1dprman Harris that the Mayor be hereby authorized to sign a contract for the installation of patking meters in the City of Georgetown. The motion was carried by the following vote; Ayes: Chastain, Hoffman, Wilcoxq Harris. Noes: C. C. Hamilton. The Council listened to complaint of property owners per- taining to the erection of a Federal Housing Unit on the Cotton Yard in this city. It was agreed by those present that a new site for said unit would be found elsewhere, a vote on the agreement was not considered as necessary.
