The City Council met in regular session on the above date
Mayor Pro Tem J. R. Chastain presiding, the following were present:
City Manager Lee C. Black,. Aldermen, J. D. Chastain, C. C. Hamilton,
W. P. Hoffman, Jr., Ham E. Harris and Sam E. Wilcox. Officers:
A. P. pickle, Marshal, W. H. Numm, attorney for the city: M. L.
Cates, secretary.
On Motion of Alderman Hoffman, Jr., the minutes of the previous meeting
was approved.
On motion of Alderman',Yilcox all approved accounts were ordered ap-
paid.
ArMilk ordinance was presentedthe Council and mtitionimade bjtlderman
Harris tkht the game be read in full, which was seconded by Alderman
Wilcox. The said motion was passed.
The Said Ordinance was read, and a discussion was participated in by
those present. It was decided that no further action be taken at this
meeting.
The C ouncil approve and ordered filed the reports of Manager
Lee C. Black, Treasurer Estella Byrom and Assessor -Collector C. S.
Sanders.
There appearing no further business the Council adjourned
to meet September the 18th.
