The City Council met in regular session On the above date, .Mayor -
Protem J. R. Chastain, presiding, the following aldermen and officers
being present: Aldermen: J. R. Chastain, C. C. Hamilton, W. P.
Hoffman, Jr. q Sam E. Harris, and Saxe E. Tilcox. Officers: lid. L.
Cates# secretary, A. P.'Pickle, marshals and City Manager Lee Black.
On motion of Alderman Wilcox the minutes of all previous meetings
were approved.
On motion of Alderman Wilcox all approved bills and accounts were
ordered paid.
On motion.of Alderman Harris, seconded byWilcox, the Council voted
unanimously to sell all land East of the Municipal. Airport for
a minimum of Thirty (30) Dollars peracre.
A discussion was had concerning the graveling of some streets
near the. properties owned by the Burnham Construction Company
in the Southern portion of the City, but no action was taken
owing to the absence of ftyor Hester.
There occuring no further businessq the council adjourned..
