The City Council met in regular session on the above date, mayor
Y, F. Smith presiding, the following members and officials being
present: Aldermen F. B. Bu6tholz, J. R. Chastain, C. C. Hsmilton,
W. P. Hoffman, Jr. and S. F. '"rilcoh. Officials, B. H. Cruce, City 1T
Yanager: C. S. Sanders, tax assessor and collector;m T.T. B. Cates,
secretary.
On MTotion od Alderman Chastain the minutes of all previous sessions
were approved as read.
On motion of Alderman Ttilcox all approved bills end accounts were
orderer: paid.
Tax Assessor and Collector S. 1. Sanders read his report, which was
received and filed on motion of Alderman C. C. Hamilton.
The Report of the Tax Assessor and Collector showed the amount
of LRxes to be collected for the year 1945 to tot&].X $269111.81.
On motion of Alderman «T. T'. Hoffman, Jr., the said amount of
tax rolls were charged against Assessor and Collector Sanders.
On motion of Alderman Chastain, City Yanag'er B. 7. Crucewas
authorized to receive bids on property for sale located on the
city farms.
There appearing no further business the council adjourned,
