The City Council met in regular session on the above date,
Mayor M. F. Smith presiding, the following were present: B. H.
Cruce, City ,Tanager, Aldermen: F. E. Buchholz, J. R. Chastain,
Co C. Hamilton, W. P. Hoffman, Jr., and S. E. Wilcox. Officers:
M. -L. - Cates, Secretary,
Alderman Hamilton moved the minutes of the previous sessions of
the council be approved. The motion was seconded by Aid. Buchholz
and was carried*,
On motion of Alderman 'Wilcox all approvee accounts were ordered paid.
Alderman J. R. Chastain, ordinance committeeman, presented an Ordinance
leasing out the Airport Property and ?.,roved that it be read in full. (Sad
Ordinance on page I66 -A of these minutes.)
Said Ordinance was read in full.
On motion of Alderman Chastain the usual rules for passing ordinance
wre suspended and the aforesaid ordinance be hereafter read by caption,
snd upon being second -d by Alderman Hoffman the same was passed by the foil
lowing vote: Ayes --Buchholz, Chastain, Hamilton, Hoffman# Wilcox. Noes --
None.
Ordinance read by caption. On I-Totion of Alderman 'Wilcox, seconded by'Ald. H;
Hamilton, the usual rules for passing ordinances were again suspended,
providing the same be read by caption, and the ordinance was passed to the
third reading by the following vote; ayes --Buchholz, Chastain, Hamilton,
Hoffman, Tilcox. Noes --None.
Ordinance head By Caption. on motion of Alderman J. R. Chastain, seconded
by Alderman Buchholz, the said ordinance was Pissed finally by the following
vote: Buchholz, Chastain, Hamilton, Hoffman, 7ilcox, Noes --None.
Ordinen ce Committeeman J. R. Chastain, presented an Ordinance sub -leasing
the Georgetown Airport and moved that it be read in full. 2. E. Buch-,
holt seconded the motion and it was carried by the following vote;
Ayes --Buchholz, Chastain, Hamilton, Hoffman, Wilcox. Noes --None.
The said Ordinance was read in full. (See Ord. 6n page 166-B)

caption only, and that the same be passed to its second reading. The
motion was carried by the following vote. Ayes-- Buchholz, Chas-

The ordinance was read by Caption. On motion of Aid. Buchholz, seconded
bl; Aid. Hamilton, the usual rules for passing ordinances were again sus-
pended and the aforesaid Ordinance be read by caption only was passed U.
by the following vote: Ayes--7uchholz, Chastain, Hamilton, Hoffman, rW
Wilcox. ?Toes. None.
The Ordinance was read by Caption. On motion.of Alderman IT. P. Hoffman,
Jr., seconded by Alderman S. E. 'Wilcox, the said ordinance was finally
passed the following being the Vote: Buchholz, Chastain, Hamilton,
Hoffman, Wilcox. Noes. None,
A-rdb6ldtioncef the City Council of the City of Georgetown making the
CiAy manager of the said City the Manager of the City Airport and fixing is
his powers and duties, was prsented by Resolution Committeeman Chastain
who moved that the same be read in full and passed. S. E.Wilcox seconded
the motion and the same was carrie by a Unanimous vote of the Council.
