July 9th, 1945
The City Council met in regular session on the above date, Mayor
M. F. Smith presided and the following were present: Aldermen:
Buchhloz, Chastain, Hamilton, Hoffman and Wilcox being absent. B. H.
Curuce City manager: A. P. Pickle, 11arshal; NI. L. Cates, secretary.
On motion of Aldermen Buchholz, minutes of the previous regular
and adjourned sessions were approved.
All approved accounts were ordered paid.
On motion of Alderman Chastain, the -,City manager -Cruse and Fire
Committeeman Hamilton were authorized to purchase the amount of
fire hose.
On'motion 6f Alderman Hamilton,'seeonded by Alderman Chastain
the Council adjourned to July 16th, 1945,

A motion was mode by J. R. Chastain, ,'seconded by F. E. Buchholz,
granted an additional ?payment of $25.00 permonth to the District
Health dlifiic; The motion carried bya vote as follows: Three I's and two
Noes.
A motion was made by S. r. '7ilcox and seconded by'. E. Buchholz,
authorizing the mayor and Airport Committee to contract for the
building of a hanger aOxIDO 'feet -at tho.irMunteipal Airporbt
The motion was unanimously padsed.
There oceuring no .further business, the Council adjourned.
