June 11th, 1945
The City Council met in regular session on the above date, Mayor M. 11.
Smith presiding, the following officuals being present: City Manager,
B. H. Cruce; Aldermen; F. E. Buchholz, J. R. Chastain, C. C. Hexnilton,
and S. E. Wilcox. City Yarshal, A. P. Pickle, Atty.
W. H. Nunn, and Secretary M. L. Cates.
On motion of Alderman Wilcox the minutes'of the previous meeting was
approved. On motion of Alderman Buchholz, all approved accounts were
ordered paid.
Mayor Smith appointed C. S. Griffith, A. T. Gray and J. B. Robertson
to sit -at a baxrdquSligation beard. On motion of Alderman 7i.lco3t the
Council approved the appointments.
A motion was made by Alderman Hoffman authorizing the Mayor- to

The Council listened to the plans -,al of The Magnolia Petroleum C'o.,
discussed by the Company's Local dealer, Yr Bond Chreitzbarg, for
the erection of an administration building itrthbeGeorgetown
Municipal Airport. It was decided that the Council would adjourn to
Thuriday, June the 14th, 1945, to further consider the proposition.
