The City Council met in regular sesion on the above date,
Mayor M. F. Smith presiding, the following aldermen and officers
being present: Aldermen F. no Buchholz, J. R. Chastain, Co Co Hamil-
ton, W. H. Hoffman, Jr. and S. E. Tilcox. A Officers; ''Vayne
Magill, marshal; Calvin S. Sandersq Tax Colletor"and Assessor,
M. L. Catesp Secretary and 13. H. Cruce, City Manager.
On Motion of Alerman J. R. Chastain, secinded by Alderman 'V. H.
Hoffman, Jr., all approved accounts were orderee paid.
A motion was made by Alderman Buchholz thstrueting and directing
Mayor M. F. Smith and City Manager B. H. Cruce to proceed with
all necessary matters to procure easements on approaches to
the Georgetown Airport, which motion was unanimously carried.
A motion was made by Alderman Co C. Hamilton and seconded by
Alderman J. R. Chastain ]Duthorizinf City Manager Cruce to negotiate
tease of property of the city, heretofore occupied b y Schwertner
Brothers* for another period of time as he deemed avisable.
On motion of Alderman C. C." Hamilton, the Reappointmant of Mr.
B. H. Cruce, as City Manager of the City of Georgetown Texas,
by Mayor Smith, ferethdifnllowing year at a salary of $300.00''
per mmnth, begining as of January 15tq'19459 be confirmed. was
seconded Ry Alderman Hoffman and was passed unanimously.
There appearing no further business, the Council adjourned.
