The City Council met in regular session on the above date, The follow4
ing alderman and officers being present: Aldermen, F. E. Buchholz,
J. R. Chastain, C. C. Hamilton and W. P. Hoffman, Jr. Officers,
Wayne Magill Marshall M. l,. Cates Secretary# and B. H. Cruce, manager
streets and city utilities. Mayor M. F. Smith and Mayor Pro Tem
S. E. Tilcox being absent, the Council elected Alderman C. C. Hamilton
to preside at this session.
On motion of Alderman V. E. Buchholz the minutes of the previous
meetings were approved. and on motion of Alderman J. R. Chastain all
approved accounts were ordered payed.
Report of Treasurer Miss Estella Byrom was read and on motion of
Alderman J. R. Chastain the same was rreeived and filed.
After hearing Mruager of utilities reports on various phtters
pertaining to the utilities the council adjourned,
