The Following aldermen and officers were present: Aldermen: F. E. Buchholz, J. R. -Chastain, C. C. Hamilton, and W. P. Hoffman, Jr. Officers, Payne Magill, marshal: C. S. Sanders, assessor and colbetor; 12. L. Cates, secretary and B. H. Cruce, manager of city utilities. On motion.iof;Alderman Hoffman the Council approved the minutes of the previous session. On motion of K1dErmdnchhffl E. Buchholz, seconded by Alderman Hamilton all approved accounts were ordered paid. The Council duly approved tye report of the auditing committee, after hearing explanation of the same bg made by the Chairman of the Committee Mr, Lee, M. Taylor. The Mayor appointed Messrs. C. -S. Griffith, A. '.'Gray and and J. T. Roberson as a board of equalization to review the tax renditions for the year 1944.' On motion of Alderman Hoffman the Council approved the appointments. On motion of Alderman Buchholz, the Council xxtud authorized Assessor and Collector to publish the city's delinquent tax list. On motion of Alderman Chastain Assessor -and Collector Sanders was charged with the uncollected taxes for 1943, -in the amount of Wt077,459 including delinquent taxes for previous years, as follows: On motion of Alderman W. P. Hoffman, Jr, seconded -by Alderman P. E.. E. Buchholz the Council voted unanimously to set aside $500 per month from the Water and Light Fund, begining with May 1944, to be placed in a Fund to be known as W ex—ali �ight-Re eem t Fund .��� There appearing no further business the Council, of Georgetown, Texas Attest: G �� Secretary, City of Georgetown Texas, adjourned.
