The City Council met in regular session on the above date,
llamiltBri�'km.rTipresi.ddd, the following officers and aldermen
were present: Aldermen F. E. Buchholz, J. R. Chastain, C. C. Hamil-
ton, W. P. Hoffman, Jr., and Sam F. Wilcox. Officers: C. S. Sanders
assessor and collector; Albert Pray Marshal, M. L. Cates Secretary.
And Manager r. E. Ward.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved on motion
of Alderman J. R. Chastain, seconded by Alderman Hoffman.
On motion of Alderman Buchholz, all approved accounts were ordered
paid.
C)n motion of Alderman Buchholz, seconded by Alderman Will ox,
Fireman lax Sansom was granted vacation of the usual two weeks
with payo
on -motion of Alderman Hamilton, seconded by Alderman Hoffman the
Council adjourned to meet in continued session ,to Monday July
19th , i943.
