The City Council met in regular session on this the 14th 'day of
of June, 1943, Mayor Ad. F. Smith presiding, the following aldermen and
officers being present: Aldermen, F. F. Buchholz, J. R. Chastain,
C. C. Hamilton, a P. Hoffman,Jr. and Sam E. Wilcox. Officers, Albert
1fay, marshall C. S. Sanders,'assessor and collector: If. Z. Cates
Secretary and R. E. Ward Manager.
The minutes of the previous regular session was read and on motion
of Alderman Chastain were approved.
All approved bills were ordered paid on motion of Alderman Buchholz.
Assessor and Collector -Sanders Report was read and on motion of
Alderman Chastain the same was received and filed.
On motion of Alde man Wilcox seconded by Alderman C. C. 14amilton,
Treasurer Diss Estella Byrom was authorized to pay interest due on
Sewer and Nater Works Improvement Bonds from the -General Fund.
There appearing no further bNsiness the Council Adjourned*

The City Council met in called session, on -June 25th, -1943;
mayor M. I+'. Smith presidingt the following -aldermen being present,
the following resolution was presented by ordinance Committeeman
J. R. Chastain, after the reading of the same, moved that it be passed:
The motion was seconded by Alderman Buchholz, and the sid resolution
passed unanimously by the following vote.
Ayes --Buchholz, Chastain, Hamilton, Hoffman, `vilcox. Noes None.
