AN ORDIN.ANCS OF THE CITY OF GEORGET01NT FILING THE SAL-
ARIES OF THIS OFFICERS OF THE SAID CITY ELBOTED AT THE
REGULAR UECTION HELD APRIL 6T$, 19430 AND: DECLARING AN WRGANCY

Be it ordained by the City Council of the said City
of Georgetowano` that the salaries of the herein named officer .
is Fixed as follows:
late The City Marshall, shall perdtorm the duties of Fi a Mar-
shen t in addition to his duties as City Marshall, and, for his ser-
vices as City Marshall and as Fire Marshall shall rerceive a sallary

of one hundred and ten ($110.00) dollard,jand shall in Odition re --
calve shuck fees, in criminal cases as are allwed by law to oonstab-
les in crimainal cases in justices court, in like cases in the dor-
poration court, and that mar be fixed by ordinance.
2nd. That the City Secratery Shall receive a salary ,of twelve
& 50/100 dollars per month, and in addition such fees as are provied
by law, and by orinance of thlb- City for services as Clerk of the.
Corporation Court.
3rd. The City Treasurer (shall receive a salary of twelve& 50/100,
dollars per month: l
4th. The City' Assessor and Collector shell receive one percent
(1%) for assessing the Bond Funds, and five per percent (5%) for
assessing all other funds, based on the total, amount of the assess-
ment rolls after they are made up and approved; and shall reoeive
one percent (1%) on the Bond Funds and five percent of all other
funds, of all money eolleotdd by him.
5th. That each of the Aldemen''%elected at the regular elections
held April 6th, 19439 shall receive four 1J4.00) dollars ffor' each
meeting of the City Council attended by such Aldemen.
The fact that it is necessary fix the salaries of the above
officers at once, creates a necessity that the rules be suspended
and that this ordinance be at once passed and that it take effect
from and after its passage.
Passed and approved this the 12th, day of April A. D. 1943.
