The City Council met in regular session on the above date,
Mayor M. F. Smith presiding, the following aldermen and officers
were present; Aldermen F. E. Buchholz, J. R.Chastain# Co C.
Hamilton, W. P. Hoffman, Jr. and S. E. Wilcox. Officers:
Albert May, marshal; C. S. Sanders assessor and Collector°,
M. Z. Cates, Secretary.
On motion of Alderman Chastain the minutes of the previous
session of the Council were approved.
The Reports of City Marshal Yay and Assessor and Collector
C. S. Sanders, were read, and on motion of Alderman F. E.
Buchholz, seconded by Alderman Hoffmang were received and
Filed.
On Motion of Alderman Chastain, seconded by Alderman Co Co
Hamilton, City Tax Assessor and Collector, C. S. Sanders;-'
was charged with the tax rolls in the amount of $26,324.95.
on motion of Alderman C: E. Wilcox, seconded by Alderman
C. C. Hamilton; C. T. Rus sell ,,-4r.,?,pWaintpooiftbd nighty:z:n
watchman to succedd A. A. Ramselq resigned.
There occurring no further business the Council adjourned.
