The City Council met in revuler session on the above date, Mavor It. Pr.
Smith presiding, the following aldermen and officers being tresent:
Aldermen F. R. Buchholz, J. R. Chaata;n, .7. C. amdhev, C. n. TTkVTT,tcr
and S. E. Wilcox. Officers --14. L. Cates secrptaary, T. H. Nunn,' tits`' at-

R. E. Vard Manager of city utilities,
on motion of Alderman Chastain the minutes of the ureviuos mpe+;rr•g
warp approved.
On motion Alderman J. C. Godbey, all approvr-d accounts were orddy-
ered paid.
On motion of Alderman C. C. Hnmilton, the council voted unanimously
to pay to Jeff Hausenfluck, xifw his wife and kitsixx heirs, the
sum of A55n.nn, the sid srm renrp-entinQ the contrat tforfeit , and
Bart of the purchase price on the tract of land sat
as had been designated for an airport.
Alderman F. S, Buchholz moved that the reports of officers
as read be received and filer.
.Alderman C. C. Hamilton made a motion that the council sell one
of the sewing machine as nrviously used in the 2= W.P.A. Sewina
Roam to Mrs. Harold Atkinson at the purchase price paid by
the city . The motion carried.

Called Session.
The City Council met Monday, Nov. 24th in a Balled session,
Mayor M. F. Smith presidinsz. The Following Aldermen were presents
F. E. Buchholz, J. R., Chastain, J. C. Godbey, S. E. - W'i.lcox, and -
City Marshal Albert May. The mayor presented the Matter of replacing
the night watchman, John Sherman, 11ho waot icikiaat recently killed -In -
an auto accident. Ater much discusiion the following motion was A sedt
