Smith presiding,.the following Aldermen and Officers beibg presents Aldermen: F. n Buchholz, J. R. Chastain, J. C. Godbey, C-. C. Hbmilton and S. F. v ileox. Officers: 1. H. Nunn, city` attorney4 8. S:nftmders, assessor and collector: Albert Tray, Marshal; I.T. L. Cates Secretary and R. 2. Ward, manager of utilities. On motion of Alderman Chastain, the previous minutes werb read as correctedy and approved. All approved bills ,werd tbdered paid on motion of Alderman T. T. 73uchholz. Tax Collector Sanders and Albert may presented their monthly reports and the same were received and filed on motion of Alderman Wilcox. On motion of Alderman Chastain, seconded by Alderman Hamilton, Tas Assessor and Collector Sanders was charged with the uncoll6oted taxes as follows: For the years.. 1927--� 12.28 1928-- 93:65 1929-- 109.94 1930-- 249.47 193L-- 601.45 1932-- 694.12 1933-- 724.47 1934-- 865.39 There appearing no further business Attest: Secretary City of Georgetown, Texas 1935--# 932.00 1936-- 1031.60 1937-- 1474.38 1938-- 2159.49 1939-- 2481.93 1940-- 39790'80 1941-- -2344M.92 Total .... $38840.99 the council adjourned. or, City of Georgetown, Texas Alderman J. C. Godbey moved that the rules requiring that ordinances be read at three separate meetings be suspended and the same be put on second reading and be read by captions which motion was Efeconded-,by Alderman Buchholz and put by the mayor and upon roll call the vote was as follows: Ayes: Buchholzp Chastaing Godbey, Hamilton, Wilcox. Noes --none. The Ordinance was read by caption and Alderman J. R. Chastain moved that the rules rewuiring ordinances be read at three separate meet- ings be suspended and the said ordina-1ce be put on its third read- ing and beread by caption. Alderman Wilcox seconded the motion and upon the vote of the council the xxtzxxxxx ordinance again carried by t'he following vote: Ayess Buchholz, Chastain, Godbey, Hamilton, aril -cox. Noes --none. Ordinance read by Caption Alderman S.,; . Wilcox then moved that the said ordinance be finally Passed. The motion was seconded by Alderman J. R.
