S*ith preildtpg, the following aldermen and officers being present: Aldermen --F. E. Buchholz. J. R. Chastain, J. C. Godbey, C. C. Hamilton and S. E. Wilcox. Officers--TI.L.Cates, secretary, W. H. Nunn, City Attorney; R. E. Ward, manager Utilities. Committeeman on Ordinances, J. C. Godbey presented an ordinance the Caption of which is as follows; (Said Ordinance in full on pages 96a, 96b, 96c) "An Ordinate of the City of Georgetown, an election to be held for the purpose PYOW the said city shall issue bonds in the. Dollars to purchase lands and to build Texas, calling and ordering of determining whether or'not sum of Forty Thousand, ($409000. an Airport." Alderman Godbey moved that the aforesaid ordinate be read in full. The motion was seconded by Alderman S. E. Wilcox, and was carried unanimously. On motion of Alderman J. R. Chastain, seconded by Alderman F. E. Buchholz, that there appeering the emergency clause in said ordi- nance, all rususlgruleBiggv6lanipgsthgrc passage of x2=3 ordinances be hereby suspended, that the said ordinance be'hereafter read by caption and passed to the second reading: The motion carried by a unanimous vote of the Council and receorded as follows: Ayes --Buchholz, Chastain, Godbey, Hamilton, Wilcox. Chastain, that the siad ordinance be passed to the third reading was carried by unanimous vote of the Council. The vote was as follows: Ayes; Buchholz, Chastain, Godbey, Hamilton, Wilcox. Hamilton, tMt the stid ordi- be passed FINAUTS by the following unanimous vote: Ayes -- Buchholz, Chastain, Godbey, Hamilton, Wilcox. Bones None.
