The City Council met in regular session of the above date,
Mayor 111. F. Smith, presiding, the following aldermen and
officers were present: Aldermen; F. J. C. Godbey,
C. C, Hanilton, a -d S. F. 'Vilcox, Alderman J. R. Chastain
being absent on account of illness. officers: 7. He 7unn, city

On xcount of Aldermen J. C. Godbey the minutes of the pretiaus
meeting mere approved es read.
On motion of Alderman F. E. Iuchholz all rpptoved accounts were
ordered paid.

as a committee to canvas the election returns which was held of
the let day of April, 1941. The committee reported as folldwsi
