Smith presiding, the following aldermen and officers were present: Aldermen - F. R. Buchholz, J. R. Chastain, J. C. Godbey and Sam W. Wlleox, Officers: Albert ?!lay marshal; T. H. Nunn, city attorne C.M . Srynders, assessor and collector; 7,% L. Cates, secretary and R. R. Ward' manager of utilities. On motion of Alderman J. C. Godbey the minutes of the previous meeting were approved. And all approved bills and accounts were ordered paid. Bids were received on fire truck casing sand tubes, P11 of which were turned over to fire committeeman, J. R. Chastain, with instructions to purchase from the lowest bidder who meets the required specifications, OnNote. All bids will berecored in the minutes of the meeting following thexz=txzz* purchase'). Reports of Assessor qnd Collector Sanders and Treasurer Estella Byrom were read and on motion of F. E. Buchholz were received and filed. Mayor Smith appointed the following as auditing committee: 1.�ie°ssrs. Zee H Taylor, N. Chrietzberg and Claud Bads. On motion of Alderman T. C. Godbey, seconded by Alderman Chastain, the council ratified to appointments. On motion of Alderman Godbey, the manager of the city utilities wasauthoized to place a blinker iUkttraffic light on 12th Street, near the Adminstration Building of Southwestern University, There s-gpeiLring no further business the Council. -adjourned,
