The City Council met in regular session on the above date, in the City N
Hall, Mayor M. F. Smith presiding, the following aldermen and officers kxi
being present: Aldermen: F. E. 3uehholz, J. R. Chasta4mg J. C. Godbey,
C. C. Hamilton and S. H. Wileox. Officers, ',9. R. 'Tunn, City Attorney;
C. S. Sanders Assessor and Cilleetor, Albert May marsrshal and M. L.
Cates secretary.
On motion of Alderman 3uchholz, minutes of previous meeting were approved.
On motion of Alderman Godbey all approved accounts were ordered. paid.
Commiteemen Godbey and Hamilton reported tha$ Dean "Hord, contractor,
had offered to do the grading of the Cody memorial Library grounds
for the sum of $100,00. On motion of Alderman J. 1R. Chastain, seconded
by Alderman S. Tilcox, the said committee was authorized to accept
the offer of Mr. Dean provided the siad gradingxxxxkct be done accord-
ing to the specifications as set out in blue prmnts furnished by
Architect Cameron ^airchild.
Resolution Committeeman J. C. Godbey presented a resolution finally
accepting Contract No. 1, Foundation of Cody Memorial Library, as
follows, and moved its adoption. The motion was seconded by Alder-
mnn F. E. ?
