A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING ENACTMENT OF FEDERAL AND STATE LAWS
WHICH REGULATE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAMS
AND ESTABLISHING CERTAIN RULES, PROCEDURES AND A CITIZENS PARTI-
CIPATION PLAN FOR THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM OF THE
CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, both State and Federal law require cities implementing a Community
Development Program to establish and make public a Citizens Participation Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City of Georgetown Citizens Advisory Commission performs the
required duties with regard to such a Citizens Participation Plan; and
WHEREAS, a complete description of the City of Georgetown Citizens Advisory
Commission, its organization, make-up, duties, powers, etc., is attached hereto as
Exhibit "A"; and
WHEREAS, such Lommission as described in txhibit "A' fulfills all of the necessary
requirements of both State and Federal law, and should be adopted by the City of
Georgetown as such Citizens Participation Plan; no therefore be it .
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, that the Citizens
Advisory Commission as described in Exhibit 'W" attached hereto be and the some is
hereby adopted for the Citizens Participation Plan for the City of Georgetown, Texas.
ADOPTED this 11th day of April, 1978.
