HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 82-03 - Utility Easement�dL -13 AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING A UTILITY EASEMENT LYING AND BEING SITUATED ON THE COMMON LINE BETWEEN LOTS 8 AND 9, OF BLOCK C, SAN GABRIEL HEIGHTS, SECTION V, A SUBDIVISION TO WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS, ACCORDING TO THE MAP OR PLAT THEREOF OF RECORD, PLAT RECORDS, WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS. WHEREAS, a petition has been receivad from James Morgan, the owner of land upon which the utility easement is located on the common line between Lots 8 and 9 of Block C in San Gabriel Heights, Section V, a subdivision to Williamson County, Texas; WHEREAS petitioner states that Lots 8 and 9 as described above are owned by Jack Morgan, and that Jack Morgan will construct a house on both of the lots and over the utility easement; there is utility easement all the way 00 around both the lots and that the utility easement on the common line between co the lots is not now being used and is no longer needed. Q WHEREAS, petitioner states it has been the owner of said property upon Q which the easement is located and which is requested to be vacated, closed, and abandoned; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas that the said utility easement be and the same is hereby vacated and abandoned beginning twenty-five feet from the front property line to ten feet from the rear property line, provided however that if the above described lots are used individually, the easement shall revert to the City of Georgetown and also provided that the utility easements along the exterior lines of the above described lots which are perpendi- cular to the common lines shall remain unchanged and in full effect.
