AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE "ZONING ORDINANCE"
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS ON THE 12th DAY OF
FEBRUARY, 1981, AMENDING PARTS OF THE MAP OF
THE ORIGINAL ORDINANCE. CHANGES THE PROPERTIES
DESIGNATED AS AREAS 12 and 13 ON THE PARTIAL
MAP OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN WHICH IS APPENDIX A,
WHICH IS ATTACHED TO THIS ORDINANCE AND MADE A
PART HEREOF TO THE SAME ENTENTE AS IF COPIED HERE-
IN, OF THIS ORDINANCE FROM RM3-MULTIFAMILY TO RS -
SINGLE FAMILY DISTRICTS (AREA 12), AND FROM RM3
TO RM2-MULTIFAMILY DISTRICTS (AREA 13).
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, the supplement to the Comprehensive Plan for the City of Georgetown
(Guide to Growth and Development in Georgetown, Texas) recommended changing the
Zoning Ordinance on the following described real estate:

map of the City of Georgetown - Appendix
"A".
AND WHEREAS, The City Council has submitted the
proposed change in the Zoning
Ordinance to the City Planning and Zoning
Commission
for it's recommendation and

report, and

WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning
Commission held a Public Hearing on the
changing of said Ordinance on the 24th day
of March,
1981, and
WHEREAS, the City Council, before adopting this amendment to the Zoning
Ordinance, gave notice of such hearing by publishing same one time in a weekly
newspaper in the City of Georgetown, Texas, which notice stated the time and
place of hearing and which time was not earlier than fifteen days from the first
day of such publication; and
WHEREAS, written notice was given to all of the owners of the lots and owners
of lots within 200 feet of the above described property as required by law; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission approved the change of aforesaid in the
Zoning Ordinance, said approval being given by said Commission on September 1, 1981,
NOW, THREREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Georgetown,
that the Zoning Ordinance, and the Zoning Map of the City of Georgetown, be amended
so that the property described above shall be and the same is hereby removed on
Areas 12 and 13 for RM3-Multifamily to RS -Single Family Districts (Area 12), and
from RM3 to RM2-Multifamily Districts (Area 13).
Read, passed and approved th 8th day of September, 1981 on first reading.
Read, passed and adopted this 13th day of October, 1981 on second reading.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS,
That Walter R. Carrington, owner of the hereon described subdivision to be known
as River Hills, Section Two, is hereby authorized to file for record in the office
of the County Clerk of Williamson County, Texas, this plat of said subdivision
attached hereto, and the County Clerk of Williamson County, is hereby authorized
to file for record this plat of land.
