ORDINANCE
DIRECTING PUBLICATION OF NOTICE OF INTENTION TO ISSUE
REVENUE BONDS
HE STATE OF TEXAS .
COUNTY OF WILLIAMS .
ITY OF GEORGETOWN
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the City of Georgetown
urgently needs to make necessary improvements and extensions
o the City's Utility System; and
WHEREAS, the City deems it advisable to give notice of
intention to issue revenue bonds in the amount of $550,000
for the purpose of improving and extending the City's Utility
System; and
WHEREAS, it is hereby officially found and determined
that a case of emergency or urgent public necessity exists
00 which requires the holding of the meeting at which this
rdinance is passed, such emergency or urgent public necessity
CD eing that the proceeds from the proposed revenue bonds are
required as soon as possible and without delay for necessary
(' and urgently needed public improvements; that said meeting
Q as open to the public as required by law; and that public

notice of the time, place, and purpose of said meeting was
given as required by ART. 6252-17, V.A.T.C.S.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS:
1. That attached hereto is a form of "Notice of Inten-
tion to issue Revenue Bonds", the form and substance of
which is hereby adopted and approved.
2. That the City Secretary shall cause said notice to be
published in substantially the form attached therto in a
newspaper of general circulation in.said City, and published
in the City, on the same day in each of two consecutive
weeks, the date of the first publication thereof to be at
least 14 days prior to the time set for the issuance of such
revenue bonds as shown in said notice.
3. That this ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon adoption because of the emergency for the preservation of
the public peace, property, health, and safety of said City and
its inhabitants.
READ, PASSED AND APPROVED this lith day of August, 1981, on first reading as an
emergency.
