A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT
WITH BOVAY ENGINEERS FOR ENGINEER-
ING THE AIRPORT RUNWAY LIGHTING AT
THE GEORGETOWN MUNICIPAL AIRPORT.
WHEREAS the City of Georgetown at their November 10, 1981
meeting authorized the entering into a Grant Application with the
Texas Aeronautics Commission to install MIRL lighting on Runway 17/35
at the Georgetown Airport.
WHEREAS, prior to entering a Grant Application with the Texas
Aeronautics. Commission the plans and specifications must be approved
by the Texas Aeronautics Commission in writing prior to the issuance
of the Grant and advertising for project bidding.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Georgetown, Texas does authorize the City Manager to enter into a
contract with Bovay Engineers to engineer the installation of MIRL
lighting on Runway 17/35 at the Georgetown Municipal Airport.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 9th day of February, 1982.
