A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE A TEXAS TRAFFIC
SAFETY PROGRAM CONTRACT WITH THE
TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS AND
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION.
WHEREAS, the Texas Department of Highways and Public
Transportation provides for the Texas Traffic Safety Program, and
WHEREAS, The City of Georgetown, Texas, is eligible to enter
into a contract with the Texas Department of Highways and Public
Transportation to provide for a traffic safety program in Georgetown,
now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Georgetown
that the Mayor is authorized to execute a Texas Traffic Safety Pro-
gram Contract with the Texas Department of Highways and Public
Transportation.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 12th day of February, 1980.
