RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE PROVISIONS OF THE 1979 SMALL CITIES DIS-
CRETIONARY GRANT PROGRAM OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS,
AND AUTHORIZING THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER TO SUBMIT THE 1979
APPLICATION AND EXECUTE THE PROGRAM WHEN APPROVED.
WHEREAS, the City of Georgetown didi submit a preapplication for the 1979 Small
Cities Discretionary Grant from the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, and;
WHEREAS, the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has invited the
City of Georgetown, Texas to submit a full application in the amount of $176,850.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of
Georgetown, Texas, does hereby adopt the provisions of the 1979 Small Cities Discretionary
Grant Program, and authorizes the Chief Executive Officer to submit the 1979 Application
and execute the program when approved.
