OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS,
APPOINTING THE INITIAL BOARD OF
ELECTRICAL EXAMINERS AS ESTABLISHED
IN THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN ELECTRICAL
ORDINANCE AND ESTABLISHING TERMS OF
OFFICE SO THAT NO MORE THAN TI&O TERMS
EXPIRE IN ONE YEAR.
WHEREAS, the City of Georgetown has established by ordinance a
Board of Electrical Examiners; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has the responsibility for appointing
members of the Board of Electrical Examiners; and
WHEREAS, the terms of office for initial appointees is to be
established so that not more than two terms expire in one year and
that the terms of the two Master Electricians shall not expire during
the same year; and
WHEREAS, the Electrical Ordinance Steering Committee, all of
whom meet the technical and non-technical qualifications for Board
members, has agreed to serve if "appointed as the initial Board of
Electrical Examiners; and
WHEREAS, the Electrical Ordinance Steering Committee has
recommended that Stanley Bland, a_.Master Electrician residing in
the City of Georgetown be appointed to serve the initial term of the
Journeyman Electrician Board member as provided for in the
Electrical Ordinance; now therefore be it
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Georgetown that the
initial appointments and term of the City of Georgetown Board of
Electrical Examiners is as follows:
