A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN,
TEXAS, APPROVING THE 2018 BUDGET FOR THE GEORGETOWN
VILLAGE PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT #1.
WHEREAS, on February 23, 1999, the City of Georgetown passed Resolution No. 990223-
N authorizing the creation of the Georgetown Village Public Improvement District No. 1, which
has been amended to include additional acreage via Resolution Numbers 050801 -AA -1, 032602-
R, 040803-V-2, 011309 -JJ, 062612-M, and 072214-R consisting of a total combined area of
approximately 391.83 acres (the "District"); and
WHEREAS, the City is required by State Law to approve the Service Plan, Assessment
Roll, Levy of Assessment and budget for the District; and
WHEREAS, the City approved the final 2018 Service Plan, 2017 Assessment Roll and Levy
of Assessment on August 22 2017; and
WHEREAS, the assessment rate for the service area in the District is $0.14 per $100.00 of
appraised value, as determined by the Williamson Central Appraisal District (WCAD).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Georgetown hereby approves the proposed
2018 budget for the District to be adopted as required by State Law, attached hereto and
incorporated herein as Exhibit A.
